Summer of Gratitude – 2018

SUMMER of GRATITUDE

by Dave Johnson, Executive Director

We’re BIG on gratitude here at WHO.
We agree with Dr. Robert Holden who said:
“The miracle of gratitude is that it
shifts your perception to such an extent
that it changes the world you see.”

They that sow gratitude reap contentment!

1.THE MOUNTAINS

Bob and I drove over Trail Ridge Road this summer with his sister and niece. Hadn’t made that trip in over 10 years. Beautiful!

2.WHO EVENTS

From our time with the Colorado Municipal Clerks Association to Jefferson County School Administrators and others in-between, it’s ALWAYS FUN bringing a serving of Chicken Lips to a wide variety or organizations.

3.KIND WORDS from CLIENTS

August 1, 2018. Oppenheimer Funds
“Oh the event was a smash hit. I’ve heard positive
feedback from throughout the team, and I know they were thankful. Bob and Dave had a generous spirit, helped others own the room, and were hilarious!
Gifted facilitators, those two.”

July 18, 2018. Family Celebration
“Dear Dave, LuAnn and Bob,
What a kick that was, and no one walked away without laughing. Your humor started what became an afternoon and evening of hilarity, jokes and great family feelings for our families. I am so happy we found you, and I wanted you to know just how much the “entertainment” I promised everyone blossomed into joy for our birthdays.”

MULCHER MORE BETTER!

4.MULCHER

For nearly 20 years I would bag my grass clippings after mowing.
This year I began using the mulching feature of my lawn mower.

OPENING NIGHT

Here is director Bob Wells welcoming the opening night audience to “Ain’t Misbehavin,” the music of Fats Waller at Town Hall Arts Center in Littleon.

Five of the most talented performers you’ll see on stage, plus a kick-ass live band led by Donna Debreceni on piano transports audiences to the raucous, rowdy and bawdy jazz joints of the 1920s and 30s.
