In this day and age, we have thousands of choices at our disposal when we need a laugh. Not so in the 1940s. In those days our choices for comedy were much more limited. And still, we found an abundance of humor at the movies, radio and TV, nightclubs, and traveling salesmen.
We will look at many of those purveyors of frivolity from the forties. There will be an abundance of video clips from well-known comedy performers as well as information and discussion on the role comedy played in our society, especially during WWII.
It’s well known that laughter is good for your health. This class will bring you laughter. This class is good for your health!
